On May 11, 2026, a hybrid workshop will bring together researchers and topics from both ELLIS Institute Finland and the RIKEN Center for Artificial intelligence Project. In-person speakers from the institute and online speakers from RIKEN AIP will discuss common research themes in AI and ML.

The workshop is intended for the researchers of the ELLIS Institute and RIKEN AIP. It will be followed by the Distinguished Lecture from the director of RIKEN AIP, Masashi Sugiyama, which is open to all.
